Super Bowl Sunday

Wow, I don't think I've blogged in quite some time! lol But I have a few spare moments while something is in the oven, so I'll do a quick update!

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not a football fan.... not really a sports fan even, but I'm excited with this being Matt's and my first married Super Bowl lol. We have 2 of his friends up, and I got all excited, wanting to cook this, and bake that.... So that is just what I am doing!!! We are throwing our first (albeit small) Super Bowl Party! I already made the Buffalo Chicken dip that everyone loves. My first time making it and Matt LOVES it! I'm so happy :-D and James, his one friend, liked it too :-D YAY! Right now, it is slow cooking in the crock-pot, finishing up. I'm also baking some cookie bars, which sounds delicious. I'm in the middle of baking them right now, and the first part is about ready to come out of the oven, so I'll be right back!!!

Okay, I'm back.... Now the bars just have to bake for 15 minutes and then cool. After that, I cut them into squares. Eek!!

Other than that, nut much else is going on. I'm just working 40+ hours each week. The money is good, especially since we needed to get the car fixed ASAP this past week. But I miss my time at home :(

Okay, the Super Bowl is starting with the National Anthem, so I'll sign off!
