Matt and I had met in college... I remember one time he was trying to talk to me when I was hiding behind my laptop, like I always did.... He was making jokes and trying to get me to talk... He, however, had a girlfriend at the time... That was about, 2008.
Fast forward a year and a half. We started talking on Facebook, then it moved to AIM, then eventually to texting. One night he asked me out on a date, and I accepted, though I had never been on a "real" date before! So on November 6, 2009, he drove from Boston, MA to Ohio. Then drove two more hours to Columbus and took me out on an AMAZING date! I might have to post about that sometime!! That would make for a good blog entry! The day after our first date, he met my mom and I out in Wheeling, WV with some co-workers and we all hung out til about 2:30am. Then the day after that, we walked about Cambridge, seeing the Dicken's Victorian Villiage, eating Ice cream, and just walking around... I had so much fun that weekend!
Ten days later, November 16, 2009, he asked me over AIM to be his girlfriend... He claimed he wanted to do it in person, but he was already back in Boston, and it'd be weeks before he would come back.... and he wanted to make sure no one else came along and "stole" me from him.... He is so cute!!!
We've been together since then! On June 11, 2010, he proposed to me at The Forum restaurant in front of our families. And on March 19, 2011 we became husband and wife!!!! I love married life!!!
