Busy Day

Today I was kept busy, which I am thankful for :) I am just going to blog really quick before Matt comes home and starts to pack. Once he is done packing, we'll be on the road to go down south to see my family.

We also have a wedding to go to on Saturday down there, so that is mostly why we are going down. Its the first "formal" event we have gone to since being married :) I am so excited!

I did laundry today, and also ironed some of Matt's dress shirts  for the wedding. I still have not gotten the hang of ironing that well, but there isn't a wrinkle on his shirts... It took me a couple of hours, but I managed it :)

In other news, my grandpa has been needing heart surgery for over a month. He has a leaky valve... They've kept moving his surgery back, then forward.... The other day he was put on some medicine to get started on the surgery, but he had an allergic reaction to it. Dad told me is was so bad that he almost died.... That was scary to hear! So they've had to go on a search to find a surgeon who will do the heart surgery withOUT that medicine.... I think they finally found one, and he and grandma have a meeting with the surgeon on Tuesday... I think. So for anyone who is reading this, please pray for him that the surgery works and he makes it through okay. My aunt from Washington state has flown out to be with him for awhile. I'm not sure how much longer she'll be able to stay though.
